Kodama come from Japanese folklore. It is believed they live in the trees and protect the forests. If properly cared for Kodama are thought to keep the land and forests fertile, and bring luck. They don't often leave their tree, but when they do you might spot them as a tiny glowing light orb in the forest. Protectors yes, but don't anger them or harm their tree or bad luck will definitely follow! Mounted on stumps with preserved moss and sometimes other embellishments - price is for number of Kodamas on stump, styles vary...there are too many to show and each is unique but you will get something similar in spirit. Unmounted also available at the gallery, starting at 6.95 :) and yes...they glow in the dark!
